Open Mic every 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month
Join us every first and third Saturday of the month for our Open Mic session, hosted by Rich and Rich. They usually bring along a line-up of two or three up-and-coming new bands to get the afternoon going, but the stage isn’t just for them, members of the public are welcome to bring their own instruments, or simply their voice, and get up and entertain us all. It’s a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon at the Tap. And from now until the end of summer, our resident smashed burger company, Samshin-It, will be on site every weekend, so you’ll have great food to go with your pint. Come along, grab a drink, and enjoy some live music with us. -

In Loving Memory of Wendy Ruffle
We will never forget our marvellous and much missed Wendy, who was taken from us far too young at just 58. A cherished part of our community, Wendy brought joy, warmth and laughter to everyone she met at The Sixpenny Tap, her lively spirit and flamboyant presence behind the bar touched countless customers, leaving a lasting impression on us all. We will never forget her. Our thoughts are with her husband, Martin and her family. We have a beautiful red rose bush in a pot outside the tap in her memory, please raise a glass to Wendy the next time you visit The Sixpenny Tap.
