  Traditional Cornish Pasties at The Sixpenny Tap

  Something delicious is on its way! We’re delighted to announce that we’ll soon be serving freshly baked traditional Cornish pasties from Black Rock Bakery, baked right here on site at The Sixpenny Tap and served piping hot, ready to enjoy with a pint of your favourite Sixpenny beer. So if you’re popping in for a drink, catching up with friends or enjoying an evening at the Tap, our new hot food offering will give you another reason to stay a little longer. This is just the beginning. We’re starting with these traditional Cornish pasties, with freshly baked paninis and more food options planned for the near future.   Open Mic Entertainment continues 1st & 3rd Saturday each month

  If you’re looking for live musical entertainment, we have it covered at The Sixpenny Tap. On the first and third Saturday of every month, we host our popular open mic afternoon. Bring along your instrument and join in, with a PA system already set up in the bar. Hosted by Rich and Rich, it’s always an entertaining afternoon with a great mix of musicians, styles and songs no two Saturdays are ever the same. Whether you want to get up and perform or simply sit back with a pint and enjoy the music, everyone is welcome. Music starts at 3pm and finishes at 5.30pm. The bar is open from 1pm until 8pm, so come along and make an afternoon of it.
