  100 Vintage Landrover Defenders descending on the brewery Sat 18th July

  This Saturday, the Sixpenny Tap plays host to over 100 vintage Land Rover Defenders as the Land Rover Series I, II & III Club bring their annual rally to us. From farmyard workhorses to concours-standard trucks, it’s a rare chance to see leaf-sprung Land Rovers of every kind in one place and there’s live music, good food and a full bar to enjoy alongside it.

  In Loving Memory of Wendy Ruffle

  We will never forget our marvellous and much missed Wendy, who was taken from us far too young at just 58. A cherished part of our community, Wendy brought joy, warmth and laughter to everyone she met at The Sixpenny Tap, her lively spirit and flamboyant presence behind the bar touched countless customers, leaving a lasting impression on us all. We will never forget her. Our thoughts are with her husband, Martin and her family. We have a beautiful red rose bush in a pot outside the tap in her memory, please raise a glass to Wendy the next time you visit The Sixpenny Tap.
