American Style Burgers Every Saturday
Every Saturday, from now until the end of the year, the Sixpenny Tap is proud to welcome SMASHIN’iT Burgers to our courtyard. Serving freshly prepared American-style smashed burgers and loaded fries from 1.30pm to 6.00pm, it’s the perfect excuse to spend a relaxing afternoon with family and friends. Pair your meal with one of our award-winning Sixpenny ales, or choose from Budvar Czech lager, Cornish Rattler cider, extra cold Guinness, wines, soft drinks and low or no alcohol beers. We’re family friendly, dogs are welcome on leads, and everyone is invited to enjoy the atmosphere. Food service is weather permitting and may not operate during periods of heavy rain. -

Open Mic every 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month
Join us every first and third Saturday of the month for our Open Mic session, hosted by Rich and Rich. They usually bring along a line-up of two or three up-and-coming new bands to get the afternoon going, but the stage isn’t just for them, members of the public are welcome to bring their own instruments, or simply their voice, and get up and entertain us all. It’s a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon at the Tap. And from now until the end of summer, our resident smashed burger company, Samshin-It, will be on site every weekend, so you’ll have great food to go with your pint. Come along, grab a drink, and enjoy some live music with us.
