Founded in 2007 by Scott Wayland the brewery has grown from a 2.5 barrel plant to a 20 barrel operation and is one of the most celebrated craft breweries in the South of England. The brewery produces traditional real ales including IPAs, best bitters, golden ales and seasonal specials. Full flavoured with a powerful hop character and a long rounded malt finish. Beer of the Festival at Salisbury Beerex 2016 and Light Beer of the Festival at the North Sussex Beer Festival 2016. **Sixpenny Best** ABV 3.8% Our flagship traditional best bitter. A deep copper coloured ale that is well balanced and moreish with a good rounded malt flavour. CAMRA Champion Beer of Britain London and South East finalist 2016 and winner at the Weymouth Sailing Club Beer Festival 2016. **Sixpenny Gold** ABV 4.0% A superb golden ale. Slightly citrus and thirst quenching with a distinct hoppy floral aroma brewed using American hops. ### Seasonal Beers **Cranborne Chaser** ABV 3.6% Available in Spring A light mild ale that is delicately hopped with well balanced biscuity notes. The perfect thirst quenching session beer. **Rushmore Gold** ABV 3.9% Available in Summer A refreshing golden ale that is clean and smooth with a distinctive citrus hop aroma from New Zealand Nelson Sauvin hops. Beer of the Festival at Salisbury Beerex in 2012 and 2014. **Sixpenny Black** ABV 4.4% Available in Autumn and Winter Brewed from a blend of selected roast and smoked malts for a full, smooth and rich flavour. It is housed in a restored Victorian stable block in Cranborne, Dorset and is one of the most characterful brewery tap rooms in the South West.
